PALMER/CARD: The 1810 Fed census places Charles PALMER/Nancy CARD in East Friendship with six children: George, Thomas, Edward, Sophronia, Bertha and ?. He and his children are mentioned in the Meduncook Records and on maps. Thomas PALMER is my gggrandfather.

We know that Samuel PALMER (William of Hampton) migrated to Bristol in 1790 at the time Charles would have been very young as Charles married in 1810. There is a cemetary where interred are two of his children, Edward C. and George C, nearby the PALMER map site. I am looking for any additional information on this family.

Paul PALMER, now deceased Friendship resident in Dutch Neck, is related to the Shipbuilder PALMERs out of Boston. There are two others: John of Scituate and William and Judith Freake PALMER lines which lived in the Rockland area. I have just started sorting out.

Any thoughts? Cheers,     Scott Palmer      palmersf@msn.com    Dec. 2002
