CARD: Have hit the proverbial brick wall. My gggrandfather , Edward Shannon CARD was supposedly born 3/27/1801 in Friendship, Maine. Family rumor has it that his father was a sea captain and was lost at sea as were 5 brothers. Several of us are searching , but to date no success. CLARK/PIERCE/: I'm looking for the death of Addie S. CLARK who was married to True Page PIERCE in Belfast Oct 25, 1877. They lived in Rockland and their children are Franklin K., MILTON and Margaret S. PIERCE (born 1879, 1883 and 1887). There is evidence that True P. PIERCE left the state by 1892 and remarried in 1897 and their children were left in another family's care. Addie CLARK may originally be from Belfast or St. George area. CLARK/DAY/MOREY: Looking for information on Harriett S. Clark, born about 1845, who married on Apr. 2, 1863 in Rockland, Newell S. Day (born Stillman N. Day), son of Thomas W. and Susannah (Morey) Day of Mt. Desert. Newell and Harriett had at least 2 children, Luther S. Day born 1864 and Cora A. Day born Oct. 12, 1865.

CLARK/HALL: I am looking for the names of MARTHA CLARK'S parents. Martha was born in St. George on October 7, 1792. She married ELISHA HALL, one of the sons of Caleb Hall and Hannah Snow, on July 7, 1808, in St. George, ME. She died in Rockland in 1866, where she had been living with her son George B. Hall. None of the records I have on her give the names of her parents. She was my 4th great grandmother and I would like her parents' names for my research. CROWELL/THOMAS: : I'm interested in information on the schooner 'Ella F. Crowell'. My greatgrandfather, James W. THOMAS, was captain of this schooner when it was shipwrecked in the hurricane of 1898 off Cape Cod. It had carried a cargo of lime from the Thomaston (sic) River to New York and was returning to Maine with a cargo of cement. The crew members who survived: Mate-Albion GILCHREST, Father-in-law of the Captain; Cook-Arthur D. THOMAS, one of his sons; Sailors Ardie H. THOMAS, another son of the Captain and Cyrus A. DAVIS/DRURY: Seeking information on the death of Charles Drury (or Charles D.) Davis. He was born February 12, 1873 in Solon to Selden A. (aka Asher, Ashur) Davis and Ida Caroline Drury. He married Delia Townsend of Pittsfield on July 23, 1905. They divorced in 1920 in Trenton, Mercer County, NJ. I just located a Charles D. Davis in the 1930 census as living at 89 Union Street in Rockland. Captain Isaac Davis, the first officer killed in the American Revolutionary War, would have been Charles Drury Davis' was g-g-g grandfather. Nancy G HOOPER DAVIS married a second time to Jonathan STRONG June 16, 1863. It is believed this family moved to Thomaston, ME. Does anyone know if Mary A DAVIS married before 1892 in St. George or Thomaston, ME? Her marriage to George W. SPEAR in 1892 took place in Hutchinson, Kansas at the age of 35. ANY Help appreciated!
