HICKBORN, RANDALL (RENDELL, RANDELL): I am trying to locate any information on Sophia HICKBORN. I have a letter she sent to "cousin" Thomas RANDALL from Stockton, Maine dated 9 February 1880. She was born in 1805 or 1806. We believe her maiden name was RANDALL and that she married a HICKBORN. Her GG Grandfather was John RANDELL who lived in Thomaston where most of his children were born. Later he resided in Owl's Head where he died in 1781. We have been unable to determine who Sophia RANDALL HICKBORN's father was or which HICKBORN she married. Hope someone can help because we are at a complete dead end. Bob RANDALL April 1997.

PERRY: William PERRY, Sr., (1771-1853) of Owl's Head/Thomaston was, according to Eaton's local history, a member of the Baptist church for 46 years and one of the founders of the first Baptist Church in Rockland. Does anyone know whether records for those churches exist and, if they do, how they might be accessed? Kendall Mellem June 2K

ST.CLAIR(SINCLAIR?)/WIGGIN :I am looking for information on the family of James ST.CLAIR (SINCLAIR?) d. 1858 in Owl's Head. His wife, Sally WIGGIN died in 1868 but I don't know where. I have some names and dates of ST.CLAIR ancestors and descendents but it is sketchy. Sally was b. 1868 in Stratham NH and they were married in Stratham.Aug. 1998

WHITE/PILLSBURY I'm looking for the marriage record of my gr grandparents: Eveline PILLSBURY bn 1817, I believe in Owl's Head, dau of Johnson and Priscilla PILLSBURY. William C WHITE bn abt 1818 in Maine believed nr Augusta. Marriage in the late 1830s or 1840. Children bn in ME were: Sarah C bn abt 1841 or 2, John S 1846, and Lydia A, 1848. I'd appreciate any help to locate records of Wm and Eveline WHITE's marriage or any other records. I have ME census rolls of 1850 and 1860-MO census for 1870 and 1880.
