HALL/CLARK/CUMMINGS: Looking for information on a James HALL family that was in the 1888 Appleton Register. Here is the information that I have so far: James HALL b. 1825, d. 1896 married Mary Ann CLARK b. 1822, d. 1915. Children: Harriet C. b. 1870, Horatio D. b. 1864 others in household in 1880 James F., Orris F., Mary E. & Lydia C. HALL. Lydia HALL married William O. CUMMINGS she was b. 1866 and died in Waldoboro in 1964.

Lydia CUMMINGS for years had a William CLARK Family Bible which was given to my father around 1954. I have run into a dead end trying to find the parents of William CLARK. Mary Ann CLARK was not one of his children so she could have possibly been a sister or a niece of William CLARK. I am attempting to find out where Mary Ann CLARK HALL was born. Some of her children were born on Matinicus but I don't know if she was from that island. Would anyone have access to the death record of Mary Ann CLARK HALL who died in Appleton in 1915. She is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated and I would love to hear from compare notes with anyone researching this family as I know we are related.    Joanne Clark Borden     jborden1@beld.net     Oct. 2K
